(or how to move onto a sailboat) With the advent of our 50th birthdays came the usual sorts of life evaluations that one goes through. At what have I succeeded? What contributions have I made? What do I have left that I want to do before I die? Living on the water was high on both our lists. For any who share the dream, and for our family members who might not understand, this is our story. We don't know where it will take us, but welcome along for the ride!

I have been follwoing your project for that last three months. I bought a Tartan 42 in June and have started to refit her. Just wanted to bounce some ideas off you re: refit. Your boat looks beautiful! My e-mail address is captain26633@yahoo.com. I do have spare mast parts and rigging if you ever need any.

Fair winds guys, wishing we were right behind you.
We did the same thing ten years ago now, and it definitely changed our life and perspectives for the better. You have only just begun. Good luck on the cross country trip and hope to hear more from you soon.
